I love makeup. I’m not particularly skilled at it, but I love trying new products and am constantly looking for my new go to skinwear. My new recent love? Makeup that is actually good for your skin and offers a natural glow. So you can imagine my excitement when I met a local Chicago founder who has created exactly that. It is a 4-in-1 serum that includes SPF 50, Niacinamide for smoother skin, and Bisabolol for anti-redness. Oh, AND it makes my face glowy AF without being oily. I love this stuff so much and it being a local, women owned business makes it all the better.
Just look at that glow!

If you’re looking for a curious and inspiring podcast series to binge, the Telepathy Tapes is my most recent listen, and it keeps me on my toes every episode. It goes deep into controversial science relating to nonverbal communicators and their unseen abilities that range from telepathy to savant skills, to communicating with higher powers. I’d recommend going into it with an open mind, however, after hearing from the families, friends and teachers their stories become very hard to dismiss.

Tabletop Games (re: Warhammer)
Tabletop games were my gateway into narrative. In my childhood, I’d assemble these miniatures, paint them, draft out their lore, and then world-build (to the best of my arts and crafts ability) terrain.
By the time you’re ready to actually play the game, some 50 hours of pure love and dedication have been poured into the faction you’re about to field. To feel connected to these tiny plastic characters you’re moving around a board is an understatement—they’ve demanded all your creativity, intellect, and time, and instead you’re right there in the quagmire with them.
For me, tabletop games are the intersection of art, narrative, gaming, and imagination.
We have had the joy of working with Ebb & Flow Design Co, a home goods and design shop in Milwaukee on a series of fun projects over the years. But none of them have been near as fun as building out their whole new e-commerce website! The mobile experience is great, but there are hidden gems on the desktop version that make me incredible excited for the future of website design ✨
